The fastest way is inside the app, under Settings, and it takes two taps. Use this page if you no longer have the app installed.
The account leaves rankings, friend lists and search immediately. Everything belonging to it is erased 30 days later, on its own. During those 30 days you can change your mind from inside the app, under Settings.
